Peek a Buoy--Girls running for Confidence
Our first Waterford participant is Kate McDonald of Girls on the Run. This is a non-profit that reaches girls at a critical stage, Grades 3-5, strengthening their confidence at a time when society begins to tell them they can’t. Underscoring the important connection between physical and emotional health, this program addresses the whole girl when she needs it the most.
The program offers girls a community of friendship, encouragement, and self-confidence.

Saturday, October 5, from 10 AM to 4 PM. An assortment of Artists, Crafters, Vintage Treasures along Main Street. The East Lyme Public Trust Foundation will be set up in front of the old PD station in the Niantic Main Street Tent.

Every day, Buoys can be purchased at the Mermaid Liquors, 159 Main Street, Niantic or Coastal Crab, 266 Main Street, Niantic. Buoys will be on sale for $50-cash or check only.
