Remembrance Buoys
During the Holiday Season, we not only cherish the time we spend with our families, but we also remember those who have passed on. Lisa Bragaw, the owner of Zen and Now Yoga Studio, has created two buoys. One depicts a banner of her studio with beads, snow flakes and fabric. The second is a whimsical, joyous Buoy of a Flamingo with hot-pink boas. This buoy conveys her deep, happy feelings for her late sister, Corinne Derrig Rivera.
This Friday, Nov. 22, 2024, is Opening Night of Buoys by the Bay. Don’t miss this chance to bring your family and create a memory to be remembered. The event kicks –off at 5:30 p.m. at the Park on Main in Niantic. The Sweet Adelines will be performing, and Snoopy will be available to delight the children and to provide for photo- taking.
