'A Selfless, Admirable Doctor': East Lyme Local Hero

EAST LYME, CT — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented and changing times.

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these heroes making a difference in their communities. Together with Ring, we’re working to let all your neighbors know about these outstanding people and their stories.

Hero's job: Health Care

Relationship to nominee: Dr. Brutus is my child’s pediatrician & shes is amazingly gentle, kind & compassionate. Too many qualities to list.

Reason for recognition: I believe Dr. Brutus should be honored because she is a selfless, admirable doctor and deserves to be recognized.

One thing to know: Dr. Brutus is the type of doctor all pediatricians and providers should strive to be like. She is one of a kind and we are lucky to know her.
