The grand marshal for this year’s parade will be Bernie Gigliotti, who has served as the chair of Lyme’s Planning & Zoning Commission since 2019. Prior to that, he served as the Town’s zoning enforcement officer and wetlands agent for 18 years. His other contributions to Lyme include serving as a commissioner on the Conservation Commission (our inland wetland and watercourse agency) from 1978 to 1983; as an active member of the Lyme Volunteer Fire Company from 1972 to 1982; and as a pack leader for Lyme Cub Scout Pack #32 from 1984 to 1990.

Immediately following the parade, the Lyme Recreation Commission will hold a free barbecue – featuring hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, drinks and games – at the Grange.
