Victim's ID Released In Pool Drowning In Old Lyme
State police also provided an update on the status of the investigation.

OLD LYME, CT — The man who drowned in a residential pool in Old Lyme on Wednesday has been identified by state police.
Police respond to a report of a possible drowning on Jadon Drive in Old Lyme at 5:55 p.m.
They arrived at the home and found that a man had drowned in a pool.

The victim was identified as Joseph Donofrio, 79, of Old Lyme.
Police have not commented on the circumstances around the drowning. However, police said "there is no suspected criminal aspect with this investigation."
