TOLLAND, CT — State police said a vehicle running a red light was responsible for a crash near the Fieldstone Commons shopping plaza late last week.

The crash took place Friday at 2:21 p.m.

According to a crash report, a 90-year-old driving a 2022 Hyundai Tuscon was turning left out of Fieldstone Commons. The Tuscon was suddenly rammed by a 2011 Subaru Outback, according to a crash report.

State police said the driver of the Tuscon, a 23-year-old man from Coventry, ran a red light on Route 195.

No injuries were reported, but the 23-year-old was cited for failure to obey a traffic signal.
