It's The Grinch, Santa And Ugly Sweaters Saturday At Vernon Legion
Annual holiday events for kids and adults are on tap Saturday at the Vernon American Legion Post.
VERNON, CT — On Saturday, It's all about good dining with two Christmas icons by day and bad sweaters by night at the American Legion Post 114 in Vernon.
The post is located at 114 West St. in Vernon.
Hot Cakes With the Grinch and Pictures with Santa will start the day from 10 a.m. until noon. Breakfast — at no charge — will include pancakes, doughnuts, sausage and juice. Parents can pre-register at 860-306-9328 to receive a children's gift. The event is sponsored by the American Legion Veterans.

The Legion's 2024 Christmas bash is on tap for 6 p.m. Tickets are $13 and the event features the Leftovers Band and DJ Ty. Guests are encouraged to bring a dish to share and wear an ugly holiday sweater. The ugliest will win a prize.
