VERNON, CT — Vernon police this week recovered a stolen car and promptly charged a teen. Just after midnight on Tuesday, Vernon officer noticed a silver sedan match the description of a car that had been stolen driving behind the Travelodge motel at 51 Hartford Turnpike, according to an arrest report. The 18-year-old from Meriden was charged with driving without a license and larceny of a motor vehicle, police said.
