2 West Hartford Residents Identified In Murder-Suicide Stabbing Last Month: Mass.
A 47-year-old West Hartford woman was murdered at a Springfield, Mass., residence by a 43-year-old West Hartford man, authorities said.
SPRINGFIELD, Mass./WEST HARTFORD, CT — Two West Hartford residents were identified as being among the three found dead Nov. 25 in a Springfield, Mass., residence after a murder-suicide stabbing.
Hampden District Attorney Anthony D. Gulluni Monday, identified the victims in a double homicide–suicide discovered on Tuesday, Nov. 25, inside a residence on State Street in Springfield, Mass.
The victims were identified as Khamkieo Chingvacha, 67, of Springfield, Mass., and Sachivanh Phomphanh, 47, of West Hartford, CT.

A third individual, identified as Kung Kedjumnong, 43, of West Hartford, CT, is believed to have fatally stabbed both victims before taking his own life, according to Gulluni.
According to the DA's office, at about 9:50 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 25, Springfield Police officers responded to a home on the 1400 block of State Street for a reported stabbing victim.

"Upon gaining entry, officers located three deceased individuals: two adult males and an adult female," wrote the DA's office in a release Monday.
The Springfield Police Department’s Homicide Unit and the Hampden District Attorney’s Murder Unit are still investigating the incident.
"Investigators have determined there is no ongoing threat to the public," wrote the DA's office. "Hampden District Attorney Anthony D. Gulluni expresses his sympathies to the victim’s families."
