You’ll be surprised how at how easily a Presidents’ College lecture, discussion, or 2-3 session mini-course can fit into your busy schedule. Our programs are taught by professors and community thought leaders.
Fall topics include extreme weather, film, cryptocurrency, the Supreme Court, Afro-Cuban jazz, stories from Homer’s Odyssey, discussions of the Wicked films and Broadway show, moral heroes, national and global politics, and much more. The program takes learning beyond the classroom with offerings like a lecture before the upcoming Hartford Stage production of Rope, attending the performance, and then a debrief discussion the following week.
