Benefit Dinner To Raise Money For Unique West Hartford Park

The upcoming 'Feast on the Farm' fundraiser will support the town's Westmoor Park, a self-funded agricultural education site.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — Tickets are on sale now for a benefit dinner in support of one of the town's more unique parks.

The public is invited to reserve a seat now for the annual "Feast on the Farm," to be held Friday, Sept. 26, from 6 to 9 p.m., at Westmoor Park, 119 Flagg Road.

Guests will enjoy a four-course dinner featuring locally grown produce and products, highlighted by the culinary talents of the DORO restaurant group.

All proceeds benefit the Westmoor Park Fund, which supports facility improvements for environmental education.

"Westmoor Park is a self-funded environmental, agricultural, and horticultural education center operated by West Hartford Leisure Services," wrote the town on its website.

"The 162-acre facility’s mission is to nurture a lifelong commitment to environmental awareness and responsible stewardship."
