Owner Sought For Cat Hit By Car In West Hartford

West Hartford's animal control department is taking care of the male feline.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — West Hartford's animal control department was taking care of an injured cat that was hit by car and it's looking for its owner.

According to a department social media post, the black and white cat was hit be a car and picked up on Friday afternoon, Oct. 7, in the area of 200 Trout Brook Drive.

The male feline did not have a microchip, but was wearing a collar, according to WH animal control.

He was taken to the veterinarian for treatment.

As of Monday morning, the department had not updated the status of the feline or whether an owner was found.
