"Throughout construction, all businesses will remain open, and business owners are excited to continue serving their patrons. Pedestrian access will be maintained, and vehicular traffic will continue to flow smoothly," wrote M&J in a release.
That work will include road resurfacing, new granite curbing, widened concrete sidewalks, decorative street lighting, traffic signal modifications, landscaping with engineered tree pits, raised crosswalks, and site furniture/amenities.

Trees that are in poor health will be replaced with native species, officials said, with additional shrubbery planted to "improve the cityscape."
"Efforts will also be made to minimize noise, dust, and disruption," wrote M&J.
The project is expected to take two construction seasons, with anticipated completion by Nov. 20, 2026.
"These enhancements will benefit the community by improving the local economy, attracting more visitors, and providing a more enjoyable experience for residents and patrons alike," wrote M&J.
Businesses remain open and, M&J said, "local business owners are committed to ensuring that patrons continue to receive the highest quality experience throughout the construction period."
