Enjoy Mother's Day Brunch At Religious Retreat In West Hartford

WEST HARTFORD, CT — Looking for an answer to the age-old question: What do we do for Mom for Mother’s Day?

The Holy Family Passionist Retreat Center in West Hartford has the solution: “Mother’s Day Mass and Brunch: We’ve Got You Covered” on Sunday, May 14.

Holy Family is located at 303 Tunxis Road in West Hartford.

The day begins at 10 a.m. with a special Mass for mothers and families, followed by a delicious gourmet brunch to rival Mom’s cooking.

Start with shrimp cocktail, fruits and cheeses, bagels and muffins and Caesar salad.

Then move on to an array of tasty entrees, including rock shrimp and spinach frittata, pork and beef Bolognese, roasted lemon herb chicken, balsamic glazed Atlantic salmon and a carving station of roasted herb beef tenderloin and maple glazed ham.

Guests can top off the meal with an assortment of Venetian desserts. A kids’ menu includes macaroni and cheese, scrambled eggs and chicken fingers.

The cost for adults is $50; children 4-12, $15; and children under 4 are free.
