Enjoy A Shakespeare Summer At West Hartford's USJ

WEST HARTFORD, CT — Area residents looking to get their Shakespeare on and enjoy some classical theater are invited to a university in West Hartford this summer.
But don't doth protest too much. There are plenty of shows to see, with the next one taking place on Wednesday, July 16. The event started last week on July 9.

The Greater Hartford Shakespeare Festival has two full-length productions of "King Lear" and "Twelfth Night" on the campus of the University of Saint Joseph, 1678 Asylum Ave., West Hartford.
Planned for outside, the shows move indoors should the weather fail to cooperate.

Capital Classics, the organization behind the festival, has expanded the schedule to include 10 rotating performances of each production, running Wednesday through Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 5:30 p.m., now through Aug. 3.
Guests are asked to bring a picnic dinner or buy food and beverages at the University of Saint Joseph 90 minutes before showtime.
