Free Pizza? That's Possible At National Pizza Chain's West Hartford Site

A major national pizza chain is having a grand opening celebration this weekend, with the potential for free pizza for a year.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — Connecticut has declared itself the nation's pizza capital, and a new restaurant/takeout place opening in West Hartford on Saturday will add to that declaration.

And if you're willing to wait in line, you just might be awarded a major pizza booty.

Little Caesars, famous for its "Pizza Pizza" war cry, is celebrating the grand opening Saturday, Oct. 4, of its newest pizza restaurant at 1032 Boulevard.

On that morning, Little Caesars will award the first 50 guests, starting at 11 a.m. Saturday, with free pizza for a year.

An additional 50 will then have the chance to also win free pizza for a year by spinning the Little Caesars prize wheel.

From now through Oct. 30, Little Caesars will have grand opening offers.

For example, Little Caesars said guests may receive a free large classic [izza with the purchase of any non-classic pizza online using the promo code GRANDOPENING.

Other offers include special pricing on popular menu items, including $5 classic pizzas, $4 Italian cheese bread, and $6 wings.

As for Saturday's event, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., guests will be able to enjoy entertainment and activities, including giveaways from the Little Caesars prize wheel, a face painter, photo opportunities with the Little Caesars mascot, live music from an on-site DJ, and more.

At noon, the West Hartford Little Caesars will mark its official opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by the local Little Caesars team.

With its opening, the restaurant has created 20 new jobs.

Headquartered in Detroit, Mich., Little Caesars was founded by Mike and Marian Ilitch in 1959 as a single, family-owned restaurant.

It is now the third-largest pizza chain in the world, with restaurants in each of the 50 U.S. states and 29 countries and territories.

The new 1,800-square-foot Little Caesars in West Hartford is open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Friday and Saturday until midnight.
