Happy Holidays ... Now Pay Your Taxes: West Hartford

WEST HARTFORD, CT — This time of year, folks often rush to the mailbox to see who may have sent them a Christmas card or gift.

Next week, some West Hartford residents will be checking their mailboxes and checking it twice, though what they will get will be more unwelcome. Tax bills.

That's because the West Hartford Revenue Collection Office is scheduled to mail tax bills for the second installment of the Grand List of October 1, 2024, on Monday, Dec. 15.

The bills include real estate, personal property, and supplemental motor vehicles.

Payment is due on Jan. 1, 2026, with a grace period until February 2, 2026. Taxpayers may also look up and pay their accounts using the town's online tax portal.

It should be noted that the town’s bank, TD Bank, has changed the location where tax mail is processed.
