I-84 East On-Ramp Begins Closing Overnight For Construction
For the next six months, one of the highway's on-ramps will close periodically between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. each night for construction.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — For the next six months, the I-84 eastbound on-ramp at Exit 41 in West Hartford will be closed periodically overnight for construction work.
Beginning today, the on-ramp from South Main Street will be closed intermittently between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. each day so crews can install drainage, mill pavement and place new pavement and lane markings, the Connecticut Department of Transportation announced.
A detour will be posted to direct traffic westward along Route 71, then onto New Britain Avenue, to enter I-84 eastbound at exit 40.
