Major Chicken Chain Opening Its Second West Hartford Site
The grand opening is on June 12, with the company expected to make two significant donations to combat food insecurity in Connecticut.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — A popular chicken chain is opening its second restaurant in West Hartford in eight years next week.
West Hartford's second Chick-fil-A restaurant will open its newest location on Thursday, June 12, at 2534 Albany Ave.
Expected to create about 90 jobs, the new site is located in the Bishops Corner of town, and it will be open Monday to Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. with dine-in, carry out, delivery, and catering options available.

Chick-fil-A opened its first West Hartford restaurant on 509 New Park Ave. in 2017.
According to company officials, Chick-fil-A Bishops Corner is planning two community initiatives to help the less fortunate:

• Participating in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table program, which redirects surplus food to local nonprofits and has helped to create over 35 million meals to date.
• Donating $25,000 from Chick-fil-A, Inc. to Feeding America to support local hunger relief efforts of Connecticut Foodshare, a participating food bank.
Chick-fil-A is known for its wide variety of chicken options for lunch, dinner, and breakfast, from chicken tender meals/sides to chicken sandwiches and breakfast sandwiches.
It operates more than 3,000 restaurants across the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico, company officials said, with its first eatery in the United Kingdom opening earlier this year.
