Outdoor Family Movie In West Hartford Promises Late-Summer Fun
The special event will be at a local park during dusk on Friday, Sept. 12.
WEST HARTFORD, CT — The calendar still says "summer" even though the schools are open, which means there's still some time in West Hartford for some outdoor family fun.
On Friday, Sept. 12, at about 7:30 p.m., families are invited to a free outdoor movie night featuring "Madagascar" at Kennedy Park, 160 Oakwood Ave.
The movie will begin at sunset, approximately 7:30 p.m., and guests are asked to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and snacks.

This event is sponsored by Friends of West Hartford Parks.
"Enjoy pre-movie fun at the Kennedy Playground," wrote the organization. "We plan to start the movie as soon as dusk allows to help with managing family bedtimes."
