61-Year-Old Man Dies After Being Hit By Car In West Hartford: Police
He was hit by a car at the intersection of South/North Main Street at Farmington Avenue on Friday morning, police said.
WEST HARTFORD, CT — A 61-year-old man died after being hit by a car in a West Hartford intersection on Friday morning, police said.
Police said a "motor vehicle vs. pedestrian accident" took place at the intersection of South/North Main Street at Farmington Avenue at around 10:08 a.m.
Both the man and the vehicle's driver, a 67-year-old woman, were taken to a hospital for treatment. The woman suffered minor injuries, police said.

The intersection was closed for hours on Friday so officers could investigate, and the incident remains under investigation by the West Hartford Police Department Traffic Division.
