Poignant 'Playhouse' Christmas Show Starts This Week In West Hartford
'Playhouse on Park' is hosting a production featuring a play about a very unique Christmas celebration during WWI.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — Tickets are on sale for a special holiday-themed theatrical production in West Hartford that shows the true meaning of Christmas.
"All is Calm: The Christmas Truce of 1914," by Peter Rothstein, Erik Lichte, and Timothy Takach, will run throughout the holiday season at Playhouse on Park.

It will run with its Theatre For Young Audiences production of Elephant & Piggie’s “We are in a Play!”
This production runs from Friday, Dec. 5, to Sunday, Dec. 21, and is directed by Sasha Brätt with Music Direction by Benjamin Rauch.

"All is Calm" tells the true story of one day in World War I where enemy combatants stopped fighting and started celebrating the holiday together, for at least one night.
Tickets are now on sale.
Regular Performances Dec. 5- 21: Wednesdays and Thursdays at 7:30 p.m.; Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m.; and Sundays at 2 p.m.
Prices for regular performances range from $45 to $55. All tickets are subject to a $3.50 service charge. Group rates available for regular performances. There is a talk with the cast following each Sunday matinee performance.
