Small Dog Dumped At West Hartford Park: WHPD
The cute creature was found in a crate, abandoned near a playscape at the park, police said.
WEST HARTFORD, CT — Local police are investigating the dumping of a small dog at a local park in West Hartford Wednesday afternoon.
The West Hartford Police Department's Animal Control Department said the dog, a male, was abandoned at Beachland Park, 847 S. Quaker Lane, West Hartford.
Police said he was in a crate and left near the park's playscape, where he was discovered at about 2:27 p.m. Wednesday.

Currently, police are asking for the public's assistance regarding the dog and what may have happened.
They ask that the public not call about adoption inquiries as the investigation is ongoing.

"We are asking for the public to call us with any information about this dog," wrote the WHPD Wednesday afternoon.
