Time To 'Party On The Patio' In West Hartford

WEST HARTFORD, CT — A popular summer concert series starts Wednesday, July 2, when the West Hartford Senior Centers' "Party on the Patio" begins.

Wednesday's first show will take place from 3 to 4 p.m. at the Bishop's Corner Senior Center, 15 Starkel Road, West Hartford.

There, Bill Murphy will perform vintage folk, Americana, rock, and pop music.

Guests of all ages are invited to bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy the free show, which also comes with free ice cream.

The August edition of "Party on the Patio" will take place at the same location and time on Wednesday, Aug. 13.

Performing at that show are "Garfunkel & Friends" (not THAT Garfunkel, but close).

Instead, Joe Kestenbaum and Becky Sears will perform their own versions of popular acoustic folk music for guests.

Again, that show is free, as is the ice cream.
