'Touch-A-Truck' To Benefit West Hartford School's Preschool
The event will take place Saturday, Sept. 21, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
WEST HARTFORD, CT — A local elementary school is hosting an exciting outdoor event for the young ones, with the goal being to raise money for its preschoolers.
The Whiting Lane Elementary School PTO is hosting "Touch-A-Truck" on Saturday, Sept. 21, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at WLEC, 47 Whiting Lane, West Hartford.
While the event is rain or shine, weather forecasts are calling for dry conditions, making the last official day of summer a perfect day to enjoy the event.

"Touch-A-Truck" will feature all sorts of municipal, fire department, and commercial vehicles open for young children to explore.
Admission is $5 per person and those under 2 are free. For $10, people can get all the cotton candy, popcorn, and snow cones they can eat.

Proceeds benefit the school's preschool PTO, which funds all sorts of activities and programs not covered in the school budget.
