“At the University of Saint Joseph, we are deeply committed to the success and well-being of our students. This partnership reflects that commitment by ensuring our students have convenient, high-quality access to the care they need, on campus and beyond. Physical and mental health are essential foundations for academic achievement and personal growth, and with this collaboration, we are empowering our students to thrive,” said USJ President Rhona Free in a statement.
USJ said the partnership will offer virtual care options, ensuring students can access medical support anytime, anywhere.
Through HHC’s telehealth platform, students can connect with healthcare professionals for urgent care visits, mental health consultations, chronic condition management, and follow-up appointments — all from the convenience of their dorms or homes.
“I am thrilled about our collaboration with the University of Saint Joseph,” said Jeffrey Flaks, president and chief executive officer at Hartford HealthCare. “This partnership is a clear demonstration of our commitment to enhancing healthcare accessibility and driving innovation. "
