West Hartford To Dedicate New Piece of Community Art
Local leaders will gather at Blue Back Square to dedicate the 'West Hartford Community Mural' during a special ceremony.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — The local community will gather at West Hartford's Blue Back Square on Tuesday, Sept. 30, to dedicate a memorable piece of public artwork.
The public is invited to join the West Hartford Prevention Partnership and Hartford-based RiseUp for Arts for the dedication of the "West Hartford Community Mural," led by artist Katherine Tolve.

The event will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 30, at Blue Back Square from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.
"Created in collaboration with hundreds of local teens, this vibrant mural reflects the voices, values, and stories of West Hartford's youth," wrote vent organizers.

"Its unique stamp-inspired design celebrates the town's history, culture, and identity - connecting past, present, and future generations."
This dedication also honors National Recovery Month, highlighting the resources, hope, and support available to all members of the community.
The event will include a mural ribbon cutting and artist recognition; community celebration and photo opportunities; and wellness and recovery resources.
All are welcome to attend.
This event is hosted by the West Hartford Prevention Partnership and RiseUp for the Arts, with funding support from Youth Recovery CT.
