In order to be registered, all dogs must be vaccinated against rabies, town officials said. If a dog's rabies certificate expired prior to July 1, residents should include an updated certificate from their veterinarian to register their dog.

Additionally, if a pet that has been neutered/sprayed is being licensed for the first time, a certificate from the vet must also be presented.
