West Hartford Historical Site's Renovation Celebrated Thursday
The recently completed renovation ensures the historical site/tourist attraction's building viability for years to come.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — One of the town's most historic sites and tourist attractions hosted a celebration of a major renovation that ensures its viability for years to come.
Gov. Ned Lamont and West Hartford Mayor Shari Cantor joined community leaders and officials today for a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the completion of significant exterior restoration work and the Visitor Center roof replacement at the Noah Webster House & West Hartford Historical Society.

The ceremony, held on what would have been Noah Webster's 267th birthday, marked the closure of several years of planning to execute the critical preservation work at the historic site located at 227 S. Main St. in West Hartford.
The renovation project was made possible through funding support from the State of Connecticut's Department of Economic & Community Development and the Town of West Hartford.

The Noah Webster House has been designated a National Historic Landmark and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
