West Hartford Summer Theater Group Promises To Entertain
Tickets are on sale now for the West Hartford Arts Festival's production of 'The Hunchback of Notre Dame' July 24-27.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — A local summertime theater organization is presenting a show for the community this week, and everyone is invited.
The West Hartford Summer Arts Festival is putting on its annual summer musical at William H. Hall High School, 975 N. Main St., West Hartford, Thursday to Sunday, July 24-27.
This year's show is "The Hunchback of Notre Dame," which is based on the classic Victor Hugo novel featuring songs from the Disney animated movie classic.

Show times are 7 p.m. on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, June 24-26, with a matinee show at 1 p.m. on Sunday, July 27. Tickets are on sale now.
In addition to providing area folks with an enjoyable, summertime theater experience, the West Hartford Summer Arts Festival provides local high school/college-age students involved in theater with a place to practice their craft when school is out.

The group began more than 40 years ago as a venue for West Hartford high school and college students to perform in high-caliber productions of some of Broadway’s most famous musicals and plays.
"Since its inception, the program has expanded to include participants outside of West Hartford and found its focus centering on musicals," reads the organization's website.
"The program employs professional designers and directors from the greater Hartford area, who are held to the highest standards set forth by its founder, Haig Shahverdian.
"SAF prides itself on being a learning experience for those who are interested in various aspects of musical theater, including acting, singing, dancing, orchestra, and technical theater."
