West Hartford's High Schools Make Prestigious Rankings List

WEST HARTFORD, CT — Both public high schools in West Hartford were named to a prestigious ranking list released on Tuesday.

Conard and Hall high schools were again among the Top 50 public high schools in Connecticut, according to Niche's 2026 rankings of Best High Schools in America, as published Tuesday, Sept. 30.

Niche rankings are based on rigorous analysis of key statistics from the U.S. Department of Education and millions of reviews.

The 2026 Best Public High Schools in America ranking evaluates more than 93,000 public high schools nationwide.

Niche said its rankings, now in the 11th year, differ from others that rely almost exclusively on test scores and academic performance.

That's because Niche also includes input from students, alumni, and parents, as well as quantitative data from sources such as the U.S. Department of Education to evaluate teachers, resources, and facilities.

Conard High School, 110 Beechwood Road, is ranked No. 18 in Connecticut and No. 7 in the Hartford area. https://www.niche.com/.../conard-high-school-west.../

Hall High School, 975 N. Main St., is ranked No. 16 in Connecticut and No. 5 in the Hartford area.
