West Hartford's 'Playhouse' To Offer Unique Morning Shows

Playhouse on Park's 17th season of theater productions will, starting next month, also feature morning performances.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — If you like the theater but don't like the nightlife, West Hartford-based Playhouse on Park has some good news for you.

Throughout its 17th season, Playhouse on Park will offer two 10:30 a.m. performances for each of its five main stage productions for only $25 ($28.50 with processing fees). Tickets are further discounted for high school student groups.

These special performances will occur on the following dates for the following productions:

• "Million Dollar Quartet," Thursday, Oct. 2, and Friday, Oct. 10.

• "Gutenberg, The Musical!" Thursday, Jan. 29, 2026, and Friday, Feb. 6, 2026.

• "The Mountaintop," Thursday, March 23, 2026, and Friday, March 20, 2026.

• "The Life of a Fact," Thursday, April 23, 2026, and Friday, May 1, 2026.

• "The Wild Party," Thursday, July 16, 2026, and Frida,y July 24, 2026.

“We are so excited about these new performance times as there seems to be much demand from both the senior and school communities for options earlier than the typical 2 p.m. matinee time,” said Tracy Flater, co-founder/executive director of Playhouse Theatre Group, Inc.

“It’s also critical to our mission that we remain accessible to all, and this reduced price point offers yet another opportunity to see our shows at an affordable cost.”
