Crash On Bridge Cleared In Wethersfield: UPDATE

WETHERSFIELD, CT — A three-vehicle accident in Wethersfield on Route 3 snarled Wednesday afternoon traffic, according to the state Department of Transportation, but it has since been cleared.

The DOT reports the wreck was on Route 3 southbound on the Putnam Bridge.

As a result of the crash, the left lane on that bridge was closed.

The accident was first reported at 3:01 p.m. and it is now no longer on the DOT's incident list.
