E-Bike Rider Seriously Hurt After Wethersfield Crash: Police

Police said the e-bike slammed into a parked vehicle Monday evening.

WETHERSFIELD, CT — A 60-year-old male was seriously hurt after the e-bike he was riding slammed into a parked car on Goff Road Monday evening.

According to the Wethersfield Police Department, officers were called to the area of 94 Goff Road for a motor vehicle accident involving an e-bike.

Police said the operator of the e-bike was traveling north on Goff Road when it slammed into a legally parked, unoccupied vehicle south of Nott Street.

According to the WPD, the operator suffered a head injury, was treated on scene and then transported by Aetna ambulance to a nearby hospital.

Police said his injury was determined to be serious, but not life-threatening.
