WETHERSFIELD, CT β€” The Wethersfield-based Connecticut Funeral Directors Association (CFDA) hosted its annual golf benefit last month on the first day of fall.

And, in doing so, it filled up a hearse ... albeit with items that usually aren't found in hearses.

Those who attended the organization’s 2022 golf benefit tournament at Wethersfield Country Club filled a new hearse with cans and boxes of food for Connecticut Foodshare.
