Gas Station Trip A $10,000 Victory For Wethersfield Man

WETHERSFIELD, CT — A Wethersfield man's trip Thursday, Dec. 15, to the local gas station was a profitable one — and it had nothing to do with less expensive fuel prices.

Rather, Wethersfield resident Michael Hogan earned a nice little payout from a scratch-off game to the tune of $10,000, according to the Connecticut Lottery Corp.

Hogan played the 10X Cash 16th Edition game Dec. 15 with the ticket purchased at the Wethersfield Mobil station, 1340 Silas Deane Highway , according to lottery officials.

The game is $10 to play with a maximum payout of $10,000.
