“The pasta we offer our customers every day is produced with only ITALIAN DURUM WHEAT SEMOLINA. It is quality product, and provides enormous health benefits. Italian wheat is grown with much fewer chemical agents, and this affects people's well-being,” explained Landi.

“Here in America, we have noticed that many people are sensitive to gluten, which causes them discomfort and fatigue - which is why they decide to eat ‘gluten free’.” Sometimes, however, gluten free products have ingredients that can be even more harmful to the human body. “Our pasta is simple and natural, just water and semolina, nothing else.”

“The shorter the list of ingredients, the fewer chemical elements and preservatives there are in the products. We only have 2 ingredients - three, including the eggs. And we’ve heard many testimonials from gluten-sensitive customers who have not had any health problems by eating our pasta,” explained Landi.

Featured items include egg dough pasta and water dough pasta, and include Rigatoni, Ricotta Gnocchi, Mezze Maniche, Gnocchetti Sardi, Casarecce, and Fusilloni. Filled pastas include Meat Ravioli, Porcini Mushroom Ravioli, Truffle Ravioli, Lemon Ravioli, Basil Ravioli, Spinach & Ricotta Ravioli, Cacio & Pepe Ravioli, and Butternut Squash Ravioli.

In addition, fully prepared Ready-to-Bake Pasta is also available, made on-site, including Lasagna Bolognese, Basil & Cheese Lasagna, Eggplant Parmigiana, and Baked Cavatelli.

A robust array of sauces include Basil, Puttanesca, Bolognese, Amatriciana, Butter & Sage, Butter & Truffle, Classic Basil Pesto, Trapanese, and Rucola. Olive Oils include 100 Taggiache Olives EVO, EVO Fratepietro, Peranzana BioOrto Gold EVO, Lemon Biorto EVO, Vacche Rossse Parmigiano and Pecorino Sardo.

“MORE brings true Italian flavor into your homes, many pasta shapes that can be combined with tasty sauces and many Italian products chosen with quality,” explained Anna and her husband Davide, who own and operate MORE Italian Pasta Lab. “We make fresh pasta to share with multiple generations the culture of home-made cuisine, with healthy, locally-sourced and sustainable ingredients.”

Customers can choose from an array of pasta shapes, select favorite sauces, and enjoy the true Italian taste – cooked at home. In addition, fresh, tailor-made meals can also be ordered. Customers are asked to provide at least 24-hour notice for custom orders.

MORE Italian Pasta Lab also offers Chef-at-Home services, children’s pasta-making parties and pasta-making classes, and special on-site pasta events for small groups. MORE Italian Pasta Lab has been featured in The Hartford Courant, on Great Day @9a on WFSB, on the FOX61 Morning News, and on At Home with Kerri-Lee, aired on local tv stations in Connecticut.

“Meal time is family time – marking milestones and the warmth of togetherness. Our authentic pasta, sauces and freshly made ingredients add to the occasion, and we’d be proud to be the meal-of-choice for more and more families,” added founder & owner Davide Di Pietro. “At the heart is the art of preparing fresh Italian pasta.”
