• Alert Issued After Coyote Spotted Inside Wethersfield Dog Park (patch.com) — Wethersfield officials are urging residents to be cautious after a coyote was spotted inside the town dog park at Mill Woods Park on Prospect Street. Residents are advised to keep pets leashed, make themselves appear large and loud if they encounter a coyote, and report any unusual or aggressive behavior to Wethersfield Animal Control. The town stresses that simple precautions can help protect both people and pets.
   

• Woman Leads 75 MPH Pursuit In Honda Stolen From Simsbury: Cops (dailyvoice.com) — A late-night state police stop on I-91 in Wethersfield turned into a high-speed pursuit through town and onto Route 3 before ending in Glastonbury. Troopers later arrested a Farmington woman and say the Honda Civic she was driving had been reported stolen from Simsbury. No injuries were reported, but police described dangerous driving through Wethersfield streets.
