WETHERSFIELD, CT — Interstate 91 in Wethersfield was backed up Monday afternoon due to a police investigation of a crash, according to the state Department of Environmental Protection, but the crash has been cleared and police have left.

The DOT reports the crash was on I-91 South between exits 25N and 24, with the three right lanes being closed.

The situation was first reported at 1:04 p.m. and it is now no longer listed on the DOT's incident report.
