Potentially Explosive Situation Closes Wethersfield Roadway: Police
A natural gas line break has halted traffic on a busy roadway.
WETHERSFIELD, CT — A potentially explosive situation in Wethersfield has halted traffic on one busy stretch of roadway on Monday afternoon.
The Wethersfield Police Department said east and westbound traffic on Jordan Lane, between Ridge Road and the Berlin Turnpike, is closed due to a natural gas line break.
The Wethersfield Volunteer Fire Department is currently on scene, and folks are asked to avoid the area.
