Rocky Hill Man Dead In Workplace Accident In Wethersfield: Police
The 63-year-old man worked at an engine repair business on the Sileas Deane Highway.
WETHERSFIELD/ROCKY HILL, CT β A Rocky Hill man is dead after becoming trapped in a truck frame at a Wethersfield engine repair shop Wednesday night.
According to the Wethersfield Police Department on Friday morning, the victim has been identified as Drew Midford, 63, of Rocky Hill.
Police said at about 8:14 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to Drew's Small Engine Repair at 832 Silas Deane Highway in Wethersfield to follow up on a report of a workplace accident.

According to the WPD, a caller said he was looking for Midford "when he discovered him in the rear parking area entrapped between a truck frame."
Midford was pronounced dead at the scene by Aetna paramedics, police said.

Police said the state Office of the Chief Medical Examiner responded to the scene and took custody of Midford's body
The investigation is ongoing, the WPD said.
