Two Crashes On Highway Cleared In Wethersfield: UPDATE

WETHERSFIELD, CT — Two separate crashes on opposite sides of Interstate 91 Monday afternoon brought traffic to a slow crawl in Wethersfield, but they have both been cleared.

According to the state Department of Transportation, I-91 north was impacted by a single-vehicle crash between exits 24 and 25, resulting in the left lane being closed.

This crash was reported at 1:42 p.m. and it is, now, no longer on the DOT's incident list.

Meanwhile, the DOT reported another accident on I-91 in Wethersfield, this time in the southbound lane between exits 25N and 24.

This had resulted in the two left lanes being closed, according to the DOT.

The second crash was reported at 1:47 p.m. and it is also off the DOT's incident list.
