"We found the CT Summer at the Museum initiative was extremely successful in giving children across the state a chance to experience hands-on, interactive learning in an authentic historic setting," said Joshua Campbell Torrance, Executive Director of the Webb-Deane-Stevens Museum. "Thanks to the CT Summer at the Museum initiative, our in-state visitation from children under 18 last summer increased significantly. We are grateful to Connecticut Humanities for awarding us with this grant again to continue serving our community."
The Webb-Deane-Stevens Museum will offer a fun "I-Spy" activity for all its young visitors during the duration of the CT Summer at the Museum initiative. Youth completing the activity can receive a free writing quill to take home (while supplies last).
