Wethersfield Implements Street Parking Ban Ahead Of Storm
A parking ban on public streets will begin at 10 p.m. today, and town officials said it will remain in effect "until further notice."

WETHERSFIELD, CT — Ahead of this weekend's snowstorm, the town of Wethersfield has announced a street parking ban.
The parking ban will begin at 10 p.m. Friday, and it will remain in effect "until further notice," town officials announced online. During the ban, parking will not be allowed on any public roads.
Wethersfield's transfer station will be closed on Saturday as well, town officials said.

Hartford County is expected to get 7 to 15 inches of snow on Saturday, with snowfall rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour possible. Wind gusts could reach 45 miles an hour.
