Wethersfield Resident Scratches Off Lotto Ticket To $20K

WETHERSFIELD/WEST HARTFORD, CT — A Wethersfield resident's visit to a West Hartford gas station proved to be a financially fruitful experience Thursday.

According to the Connecticut Lottery Corp., Eduardo Spindola of Wethersfield purchased a $20 scratch-off ticket in West Hartford and came away with a $20,000 payout, the maxium possible for the game.

The winning 20X Cash 8th Edition ticket was purchased at Turnpike Fuel in West Hartford, lottery officials said.
