Wethersfield Resident Scratches Off Large Payout
The winning lottery ticket was purchased locally.
WETHERSFIELD, CT β A Wethersfield resident Monday turned a $3 scratch-off game into a $25,000 payout, according to the Connecticut Lottery Corp.
State lottery officials said Selvira Uvalic of Wethersfield went to the Wolcott Hill Mart, 72 Wolcott Hill Road, Wethersfield, and purchased a "Cashword 30" scratch-off game.
After playing, Uvalic won $25,000, the maximum game payout, according to the Connecticut Lottery Corp.
