The winning ticket was purchased last week at a Wethersfield gas station.

WETHERSFIELD, CT β€” A Wethersfield resident has some extra cash in his or her coffers courtesy of a huge payout from a scratch-off lottery game last week.

According to the Connecticut Lottery Corp., the anonymous player won $100,000 playing the $100,000 Cashword 12 scratch-off game.

The winning ticket was purchased last Wednesday, Nov. 29, at the Wethersfield Sunoco gas station/convenience store at 1780 Berlin Turnpike.
