Enjoy An Old Fashioned Christmas In Old Wethersfield
Wethersfield police said some roads will be closed from 4 to 9 p.m. because of the festivities.

WETHERSFIELD, CT — One of the area's most charming local Christmas celebrations will take place Thursday evening in historic, downtown Wethersfield.
From 5 to 9 p.m., the Wethersfield Chamber of Commerce and the Town of Wethersfield will be hosting "Holidays On Main" on Main Street in Old Wethersfield.
The annual tree lighting will be at 6:30 p.m. and Wethersfield High School choraliers, horse and wagon rides and a special visit from Santa Claus are all expected.

Wethersfield police, however, said some roads will be closed from 4 to 9 p.m. because of the festivities.
They include: Hartford Avenue and Main Street; Church Street and Willard Street; Main Street and Center Street; and Marsh Street and Broad Street.
