Where To See Santa In Wethersfield This Christmas Season

WETHERSFIELD, CT — Visits and pictures with Santa are treasured traditions for many Wethersfield families.

For them, there’s nothing quite like seeing jolly old St. Nick live and in person.

In the Wethersfield area, kids can regularly see Santa Claus at:

• Westfarms Mall— Off Interstate 84, 1500 New Britain Ave., West Hartford/500 West Farms Mall, Farmington

Westfarms has a large, Christmas Wonderland area in the center of the mall and reservations can be made to meet with Santa.

• Lake Compounce Amusement & Water Park — 185 Enterprise Drive, Bristol, also located in Southington.

One of the nation's oldest amusement parks is back again this year with its popular Lake Compounce Holiday Lights celebration.

Here, the popular amusement park will have a select amount of rides/attractions open for guests, with the whole park decked out in a massive display of yuletide spirit.

Plus, Santa Claus will be there as well.

Santa arrived Nov. 5 at Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s Santa’s Wonderland and will hold court through Christmas Eve. Reservations are encouraged.

Locally, Cabela's has a store located in East Hartford at 475 East Hartford Blvd., East Hartford.

JC Penney stores, including stores in Connecticut, are offering professional portraits with Santa through Dec. 18.
