18-Year-Old Allegedly Strangles 13-Year-Old

18-year old Wilton female accused of strangling boy for 'several seconds'
1/5: Police charged an 18-year-old female with risk of injury to a minor, third-degree strangulation, and breach of peace in the second-degree for an incident that occurred on Nov. 30 of last year, according to police reports.
Police said that the female, identified as Alexis Koleszar, of Wilton, had been involved in an altercation with two 12-year-olds and a 13-year-old boy which went from verbal to physical. Allegedly, the accused shoved one of the youths and grabbed the 13-year-old around the neck for "several seconds" which had “impeded his breathing” before letting go, according to Lieutenant Donald Wakeman and police reports.

One of the children ran to the where the child informed his/her parent of the incident, which happened at the town green's gazebo, and the parent called the police.
The accused posted a $10,000 bond and was issued a court date of Jan. 17, according to police reports.

Possible burgler bungled by door jam
1/7: Someone tried to break into by attempting to force open an entry door, “causing damage to the door jam,” according to the Wilton Police Department. The attempt was unsuccessful and “no entry was made into the building,” police said.
Ridgefield youth attempts escape over town line
1/7: Ridgefield police contacted the WPD for assistance regarding a vehicle that they had pursued up to the Wilton town border on Rte. 33. Police reports say that this vehicle “was reported to have a taillight out and a flat tire.” An area resident on Tanners Drive called in to police that a person had come to their front door seeking assistance, and police were dispatched to the area. Police found the disabled vehicle on Tanners Drive and subsequently found the driver, a 17-year-old male from Ridgefield, according to reports. Police also found within the vehicle less than half-an-ounce of marijuana and a “water pipe,” police said. Police issued the youthful offender an infraction for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia and turned over to Ridgefield police for other unspecified charges, according to reports.

1/6: Police arrested a driver in the parking lot of after responding to a complaint about erratic vehicle operation, according to police. Police said they found the driver, Randy Richiski, 37, of Stamford, to be intoxicated and arrested him for DUI.
Breaking and entering at Weeburn
1/5: Police responded to a burglary at Weeburn Lane. The resident said that while he/she was at a hospital earlier in the day, their residence was entered, but there did not appear to be anything missing. Police said a glass pane had been broken in order to unlock an entry door.
